Exception Management

Exception management means detecting and resolving large and small changes in your telephone bills.  It also means confirming new and cancelled service orders.  Changes in patterns can indicate employee abuse, vendor error or the need to readdress service requirements for one or more locations.

FACtt incorporates 3 levels of exception management that reduce billing errors

Step One - new services:  FACtt identifies all new lines added to your bill, every month.  Once validated, the financial coding required to allocate the new charges are entered into the database and the bill can be processed for payment and allocation.  Invalid charges that are identified can be cancelled prior to payment.

Step Two - cancelled services:  FACtt identifies all lines identified as cancelled in the previous billing period that remain on the current bill.  Vendors can be notified and disputes resolved prior to payment.

Step Three - expenditure changes:   FACtt allows you to implement circuit or account level expenditure limits.  This means that every telephone bill you process, both large and small get checked and all expenditure anomalies are flagged for investigation.
